Youth Wood Baseball Bats — Little League Approved
Tater youth wood bats are built from the same MLB-grade hard maple we use for our adult game bats — just sized for younger players. Every youth bat meets the USA Baseball Bat standard (USABat) as adopted by Little League, AABC, Babe Ruth, Cal Ripken, Dixie Youth Baseball, and PONY League.
Sized for the player:
- C271 Youth — 2.25" barrel, balanced feel, -5 or -6 drop, built for bigger youth players
- X12 Youth — 2.35" barrel, thin handle, -5 or -6 drop, contact-hitter profile
Drop weight matters. -5 drop is heavier — better for older or stronger youth players who can handle more swing weight. -6 drop is lighter — better for younger players or hitters still building strength.
Free engraving on every youth bat. Make a young player's first wood bat feel like their own with their name engraved. Coaches: email contact@taterbaseball.com for bulk pricing on team-wide engraving.
The metal-to-wood jump is one of the most important transitions in a young hitter's development. Wood teaches barrel awareness in a way metal never will. Start them on the right wood bat.
