A bat built specifically for you
Every Tater® custom bat is turned, finished, and engraved by hand in our Connecticut shop, using the same process as our pro player bats.
Most wood softball bats make you choose between a big barrel that swings heavy and a fast bat with a small hitting surface. The BB34 splits the difference: a large barrel for more contact area and a balanced 34", 28 oz build that stays quick and manageable inning after inning. Pro-grade maple, ink-dot certified, hand-split and bone-rubbed.
New slow pitch hitters get a forgiving barrel that hides off-center contact. Veterans get the bat speed and control to place the ball in specific gaps.
Wood rewards squaring the ball up, so hitters who train with it get better with any bat. The BB34 is legal in most slow pitch leagues that allow wood bats. Check your league's bat rules before ordering.
Want more speed? The SB34 is thinner at the same weight. Want more power? The LGND34. Want pop without giving up bat speed? The SB34 Torpedo.
Below are examples of colors you can mix and match.
Every color can be paired with a different color handle and barrel.
You can use this as a reference to get creative with your custom wood bat!

Tater® vs. other brands
Most wood bats are made for retail shelves — lower-grade lumber, bulk machining, inconsistent pop. The Tater® Wood Bat is hand-split, hand-finished, and bone-rubbed to MLB standards.
