A bat built specifically for you
Every Tater® custom bat is turned, finished, and engraved by hand in our Connecticut shop, using the same process as our pro player bats.
The Tater® LGND34 is an official softball wood bat. It's 34 inches at 28 ounces standard weight. ASA approved for tournament and league play. The LGND34 features a traditional knob and a long barrel with a quick transition from the handle. It's slightly end-weighted to deliver the power and exit velocity slowpitch hitters demand.
The LGND34 profile is similar to the Corndog. It's the long-barrel slowpitch wood bat shape that hitters have favored for years. The traditional knob keeps the grip natural and secure. The long barrel maximizes the hitting zone. The quick handle-to-barrel transition pushes weight forward into the end load. This is a power-hitter build through and through.
Slowpitch softball at the competitive level demands a wood bat that hits as hard as the pitching is slow. The LGND34 delivers. The end-loaded feel creates the whip needed to drive the ball deep. The long barrel gives hitters a forgiving sweet spot through the strike zone. It's the wood softball bat for hitters who care about both feel and exit velocity.
The Tater® LGND34 is an ASA wood softball bat (now USA Softball). It's legal for tournament play under the most widely-used slowpitch governing body in the country. Always check with your specific league or tournament for any additional bat requirements before game day.
Tater Baseball® hand-builds wood bats for pro, college, and amateur hitters across baseball and softball. The LGND34 carries the same craft standard as every Tater pro-grade bat. Building out a team's gear? Email contact@taterbaseball.com for bulk pricing.

Tater® vs. other brands
Most wood bats are made for retail shelves — lower-grade lumber, bulk machining, inconsistent pop. The Tater® Wood Bat is hand-split, hand-finished, and bone-rubbed to MLB standards.
